The Autódromo Internacional do Algarve, or the Portimão circuit of Portugal will be introduced to F1 22 today (August 2nd 2022) through a free update for all gamers, according to EA Sports and Codemasters.
Multiplayer capabilities will also be available with a free update. Even though this is a fantasy update, this new feature in the game is probably the only way to witness the F1 cars built for 2022 on this specific circuit.
After the pandemic shut down a number of locations across the world, the Algarve track in Portugal was an audible from the 2020 Formula 1 schedule.
In 2021, the Portuguese Grand Prix was held for a second consecutive year. Lewis Hamilton won the races in 2020 and 2021.

Portimão made its debut in the F1 video games last year with F1 2021, which was also given away as free DLC.

It was the first of three new circuits introduced to the previous year’s version, and it will return to the well-known Formula 1 racing game even though it won’t be featured on the real-world calendar this time.
The track’s length is 4.653 kilometres or 2.891 miles, and it has 15 turns. Additionally, Hamilton is the holder of the track record, having successfully completed a lap in 1:18.750 seconds at the 2020 competition.
This opens up the question of whether EA and Codemasters will release any additional tracks for the F1 22 game. The Shanghai International Circuit, which hasn’t hosted the Chinese Grand Prix since 2019 but will do it in 2023, was also teased on the official F1 22 Twitter account. Here is hot lap gameplay of the Portimão track, the footage in the video was captured using Hamilton in this year’s W13 car:
Recently, F1 22 added its 1.05 update, which added a number of bug patches and overall stability enhancements. For instance, the rate of ICE wear when downshifting has been lowered and made less unpleasant overall.
F1 2022 is available PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S, the game may also be played in virtual reality.

Plant mom (don’t judge). Controversial opinion, Lewis Hamilton should have won the 2021 Formula 1 Driver’s Championship. I prefer British English and having an oolong time writing!
