F1 French GP LIVE: Red Bull’s Max Verstappen wins the French GP at Circuit Paul Ricard and Mercedes register their first double podium finish of the F1 2022 season as Lewis Hamilton claimed the second spot followed by George Russell in the third position. Michael Schumacher has won the most number of French Grand Prix’s as his tally is eight wins. Meanwhile, Lewis Hamilton sees himself last on that list as he has won here only twice but it was Max Verstappen who won the 2021 French Grand Prix.

How the constructors’ table looks like: Red Bull is leading the constructors’ standings with 359 points. Ferrari takes the second spot with 303 points and Mercedes are 66 points behind the Italian side with 237 points.

Work started on pastis magnate Paul Ricard’s track in 1969, with French racers Jean- Pierre Beltoise and Henri Pescarolo going about as advisors on the design. Meanwhile, racing started at the circuit a year after the fact.
