The Dutchman reportedly put in a virtually flawless weekend at the Mexico Grand Prix, earning him a high mark. Lewis Hamilton followed behind him in second place with a score of 9.0. It immediately caused the Briton to climb two places in the standings.
Daniel Ricciardo grabbed third place with an 8.5. The Australian started the race from 11th place and eventually finished in the seventh position, outperforming teammate Lando Norris. It was enough for the judges to reward him handsomely.
Valtteri Bottas (8.3), George Russell (8.0) and Fernando Alonso (8.0) also received marks above eight. Sergio Perez fell just short of that. The Mexican finished on the podium but received a 7.8 for his performance. Alexander Albon (7.7), Lando Norris (7.5) and Esteban Ocon (7.4) also entered the top ten.
Verstappen is still firmly at the top of the standings with an average of 8.9, while Charles Leclerc (8.1) and Norris (7.8) follow him. George Russell, Hamilton and Alonso are joint fourth with a 7.7. Perez and Carlos Sainz follow close behind with a 7.4 and 7.2 respectively.
