The first rival that any F1 driver wants to beat is their team-mate, but how are the battles shaping up after 13 races?
It is often difficult to judge drivers against those in other teams given the substantial differences in aerodynamic philosophies, car performance, engine performance and strategies.
The only true comparison comes between those in the same machinery and, in qualifying at least, more than a few of these battles are extremely one-sided.
But who is the dominant force in each team?
These stats are purely based on qualifying and do not reflect grid penalties that were applied for the race itself.
