From porpoising to podiums – Lewis Hamilton set to spice up title race – The Times

The Formula One season resumes this weekend in Belgium after the summer break with Red Bull’s Max Verstappen 80 points ahead of Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc with nine races remaining. But despite the Dutchman’s huge advantage there remains plenty to watch out for.
The start of the season offered the promise of a close title fight between the 24-year-olds, who are separated by 16 days in age, Verstappen being the elder.
Ferrari certainly had the faster car at the start but their season has unravelled because of reliability failures, strategy mistakes and driver error. Without those, it is fair to say that they would be leading both championships.
