Check out the full weekend time schedule for the Dutch Grand Prix, which will take place from 2-4 September at Zandvoort in the middle leg of a triple-header.
Formula 1 returned to action at last weekend’s Belgian Grand Prix following the summer break as the season continued its familiar feel.
Max Verstappen won, Sergio Perez was second, Ferrari contrived to turn a bad result into a worse one and Mercedes were off the pace at Spa.
The end result is that Verstappen now has a 93 point lead Perez in the standings, with Leclerc five further back.
It’s surely only a matter of time before the Dutch driver becomes a two-time World Champion – and he can take other step towards it at his home Grand Prix.
Verstappen dominated at Zandvoort in 2021 as the Dutch Grand Prix returned for the first time since 1985 – with Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas the other podium dwellers.
Zandvoort’s high downforce nature should suit Ferrari more than Red Bull, but given Verstappen’s incredible form in 2022, he should be considered favourite to win his 10th Grand Prix of the season.
The weekend will follow the usual format, with two 60-minute practice sessions taking place on Friday.
FP1 is scheduled for 11:30am UK time, with FP2 following at 15:00pm.
On Saturday, FP3 will be held at 11:00am UK time, ahead of qualifying at 14:00pm.
This will determine the grid for Sunday’s 72-lap Dutch Grand Prix, which starts at 14:00pm.
