Kvyat continues reputation outside F1
The annual football match for charity includes Fernando Alonso, Charles Leclerc, Carlos Sainz and Pierre Gasly. Formula 1 CEO Stefano Domenicali also played along as the goalkeeper of the drivers’ team, but he was forced to be replaced after an “incident” with Kvyat.
The former Red Bull Racing driver, playing on behalf of the opposite team, approached Domenicali with a little too much speed while the goalkeeper was already on the ground. A collision ensued, after which the Formula One boss was disabled for the evening.
