Live coverage of Indy in the UK starts at 3:45pm on Sky Sports Action.

I guess typing 26th instead of 27th as the opening day is caused by an old habit, i.e., Thursday being practice day for Monaco GP.

I am livid. Sky are only showing the last hour of the Indy 500 on Sky Sports F1, as they’ll instead be repeating the Monaco F1 highlights whist the first 2 hours are taking place. Instead they’re showing the full Indy race on the Sky Action channel, which as a Sky F1 subscriber, I can’t receive.

I think you’ve missread the Sky Guide, the Coverage on Sky Sports F1 starts at 17:30 BST which is 12:30 Eastern time and the Indy 500 Race starts at 12:45 Eastern (17:45 BST) so you get the whole race with just 15 minutes of build up.

I think you’ve misread the Sky Guide. According to the EPG on my sky box, The coverage on Sky Sports F1 starts at 19:00 BST, and 15:45 BST on the Sky Sports Action channel. Both end at 21:00. So Sky Sports F1 is skipping the first hour and a quarter of the race whilst it’s busy showing a repeat.
Weirdly, this online guide instead indicates that it’s not going to be on the F1 channel at all, with ‘Brazil 2008 Revisited’ obviously prioritised in its place:

Nope. Sky sports TV guide shows sky sports F1 channel showing the Indy 500 from 5.30pm bst, not 7pm bst as you say.

Ah good, yep, my EPG has now changed to 5:30, so they’re showing the full race. Incidentally mine isn’t a Sky Q box, it’s now over 10 years old – impressive that it’s still running fine.
