Going into the Brazilian Grand Prix, Verstappen had a 21 point advantage following his mini points gain in the sprint race. But now, the two title rivals move closer together. Formula 1 heads to Qatar next weekend, before going to Saudi Arabia and Abu Dhabi to finish the season.
The first two tracks are completely new to F1, whilst the Yas Marina track features new alterations. There’s a lot of unknown characteristics, but the three tracks are expected to favour Mercedes slightly due to the power levels.
Elsewhere, Sergio Perez lost out in a battle with Valtteri Bottas. The battle for third seems to be falling towards the Finn. McLaren had another difficult weekend, and lost out massively to Ferrari.
