However, as our Guide points out in some detail, it might not be as simple as expecting a Mercedes win this year.

It’s not as simple as picking either one of the championship protagonists for the US Grand Prix, either, as Valtteri Bottas ($23.3m) has struck a rich vein of form and could net you 10 extra points if he takes a fifth-consecutive top 10 finish thanks to his race streak.

Carlos Sainz ($14.5m), Lando Norris ($14.2m) and Sergio Perez ($18.2m) are also worth considering as they are all on race streaks.
