The team comprises of 5 drivers, and a preferred Constructor, made within a budget of $100m. So, let’s dive in to see who makes our fantasy grid.
It would be criminal to not have him the team. Not only is he a 6-time F1 world champion, he is also the favorite to win it this year.  Add to that his intention to level Michael Schumacher’s record of 7 world titles. Yes, he is slightly on the expensive side at $31.3m, but should prove to be worth every penny. He is excepted to win this weekend, and is a shoo in for our fantasy team. To add to this, he also finished in pole position in both the Free Practice sessions.
The Mexican has been a mainstay in F1 for some years now, and is a very dependable performer. He started racing in F1 from 2011, racing for teams like Sauber, Mclaren and Force India. Force India has since been re-branded to Racing Point, and will do so again to Aston Martin next season, but Perez looks here to stay. He has had an impressive 8 podiums in F1, speaking heights about his quality. Expect another strong showing from the Mexican, with him finishing third in FP2 earlier today.
The French driver is very underrated, and will be looking to prove how he is. He finished 7th last season racing for Toro Rosso and Red Bull. He has made it to the Top 10 in the last practice session here in Austria, and should put up a good showing in the qualifying and main races.
Son of billionaire Lawrence Stroll, who has a stake in Racing Point, Lance is under immense scrunity. But he has done pretty well so far to put his doubters wrong, driving consistently in the practice sessions. He finished 8th in the final practice session, and should be put in a strong showing. He could potentially provide healthy competition to teammate Sergio Perez.
Lando Norris is a F1 superstar in the making, and could show the F1 world what he is all about this season. The 20-year-old was impressive in his debut season last year, finishing just out of the Top 10 at 11th. He had finished the Austrian GP in 6th position last year, and would be looking to emulate that performance. He did well in the practice sessions, finishing in the Top 10, ahead of teammate Carlos Sainz.
This is a very crucial year for the most successful team in F1 history. They haven’t won the Constructors title for more than a decade, with Red Bull and Mercedes leading the pack last decade. But, count on Ferrari to give the Tifosi something to cheer about this season. The combination of Sebastian Vettel and Charles Leclerc can be lethal on any given race day. The former is a multiple-time world-beater; the latter had more poles than Hamilton last season. It could well be Ferrari which shows their signature dominance this weekend. Vettel finished fourth in the second free practice and should put up a good showing in the weekend.
