Hugh Barter third in Spanish F4 standings as Campos dominates Jerez weekend – Highway F1

Hugh Barter is third in the Spanish F4 standings after the Jerez round with teammate Nikola Tsolov moving into the lead of the championship.

Tsolov was in impressive form for Campos Racing, locking in pole position by more than half a second for race one.
The Bulgarian driver could only manage second after being overtaken off the start by a pair of MP Motorsport drivers.
Tsolov was once-again quickest by half a second in Sunday qualifying, with Barter in third.
The Fernando Alonso managed driver sailed to a lights-to flag victory in both race two and race three, with Hugh Barter completing the race three podium in third to complete his own successful weekend.
In all it was two wins and four podiums for Campos Racing across the Jerez round.
Tsolov jumped to the lead of the standings, pushing Polish driver Tymoteusz Kucharczyk to second and Hugh Barter to third.
The 2022 F4 Spanish Championship returns 11-12 June at Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia.
